Darci,

That is so good that your levels were that high. That is a great sign. Keep

us posted on the u/s tomorrow and don't worry that it is the same building

that they diagnosed your ep because this could be the building that you come

to think as the building that diagnosed your subsequent successful UTERINE

pg. LOL!

Darci,

I'm so glad to know your HCG was good! And, I'm even happier to know that

you'll be having an u/s tomorrow. That will be great! What CD are you on

now?

That's great Darci!! I know you are excited to get to see the sac tomorrow

(in the exact perfect little spot nestled in your uterus). I'll be keeping

you in my thoughts & prayers tomorrow. Looking forward to your posting

after the u/s!

Darci -

Congratulations on your pg! Your HCG is very good for CD30 (I assume,

you are 16dpo). Good luck with the U/S. I hope you get good news. It

may be too early, though to see anything. Vaginal U/S don't pick up

gestational sac until HCG of 1500-2000, which if you took the blood

test last Friday, and it is doubling every 2 days, should be this

coming Friday.

I am confused. If you were CD30 last Friday, you should be almost 5

weeks, rather than 6w. Maybe I missed something.

Wishing you the best,

a

That's great news Darci! You're in my prayers for wonderful news

tomorrow. However, I'm with a in that if you don't see anything

yet, don't get too worried because it's still pretty early. Fingers

and toes crossed for little sac to be in place!

Darci,

WOO-HOO, your numbers sound great and I know you have to be anxious to have

the u/s showing your little one all snuggled in your uterus safe and sound.

Hey Darci--

Congrats on your great HCG result! You must be so relieved!

I'm confused, though. I didn't think they were able to see an embryo

via U/S until HCG gets up near 2,000 or 3,000.

I am a little afraid I might ask/say the wrong thing when I'm confused about

something, but I was *thinking* the very same thing. Are you sure the doc

didn't confuse the dates somehow?

Darci,

Yeah!!! Good news and that sounds like a strong number to me. May I please

ask you a question just to satisfy my own personal curiousity :) What cd did

you O? Please don't be worried if you don't see anything on the u/s

tomorrow...I believe normally even a transvaginal u/s doesn't pick up until

HCG is around 2000

Good news! My HCG results were 139. The dr said it was

very good for being only cd 30!! Anyway, he ordered

some more bloodwork today but no HCG test until later

in the week????

What he is doing instead is ordering an ultrasound to

look at the positioning of the embryo. I have an

appointment tomorrrow at 2:30 in the city. It is at

the same clinic that did the ultrasound with my ep.

UGH!

Anyway, it will be 2 days short of 6 weeks tomorrow.

They prefer to wait until 6 weeks but with the history

of ep, they will do it earlier.

All in all, the dr said it was an excellent result so

I am happy and will be relieved tomorrow if they see

the little sac in the uterus!!
