Guest guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 My daughter was diagnosed FTT, but it took forever. My twins were born at 27 weeks and my celiac daughter weighed 1 lb 5oz. Until she was about 4 1/2 yrs, they just kept saying that she was small from prematurity. It wasn't until she started vomiting everyday for 9 months that they decided to look for something else besides " just being small " . I am grateful to my friend that happened to find celiac described on the internet and forwarded me the information. I took it to her doctor and said " run the tests for celiac. " The rest is GF History Meredith, mom to twins Madisyn and Mackenzie Re: any info on carnival cruises GF Hi , I have " heard " that Carnival isn't very good to work with... Someone told me that Carnival told them they would prepare GF foods/mixes for them IF the person/passenger would bring them onboard. (Now, isn't part of the luxury of a cruise that there is tons of food that is already prepared for you... AND included in the price???) Anyway, I have " heard " good reviews about some of the other cruiselines... I think Holland and Norweigan. My past cruise experiences were prior to GF stuff, so I don't have any personal experiences I can share. Perhaps some of our other GF dieters who have earned their sea legs can chime in here.
