One must really get out once in a while!

Kinky is better known on the Texas music scene than anywhere else, or at

least in my little world.

Take a look at www kinkyfriedman com (put the dots back in).

You will likely find some of his music that you know. If not, it will give

you an opportunity to study up on Kinky.

To be sure this meets EMS issues, scheduled him at one of the EMStock

weekends a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I did not get to make it.

Kinky Friedman's is Texas' favorite Hebrew. He is a counterculture singer

(Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jew boys) who now writes regularly for Texas

Monthly. He is eclectic--still caught in that smoke-filled haze that was

Austin in the 1970s. Anything might be better than what we have--at least

On the subject of declawing cats: My two WAMPUS KITTIES, Blues, (breed:

Albany Hissing Cat), and The Right Reverend Dr. Little Jimmy Joe Jeter, a Cat

Evangelist, will meet and greet anybody who seriously advocates the declawing

of felines. They will stand man (well, formerly man) to man with you and

debate you with everything they've got, which is a formidable number of teeth,

claws, and switching tails. Dr. JJ is in daily contact with Dr. Falwell (a

Gray

Tabby Shorthair) and is a guest lecturer at Bob University. So DON'T

even think of messing with his claws or you'll have 10,000 evangelical cats on

your doorstep.

The RIGHT TO CLAWS MOVEMENT WILL NOT BE DENIED! Blues, on the other hand,

has even darker contacts who would be quite persuasive to those interested in

de-(well, you know whatting) them. Without revealing too much, I can say that

Siegfried and Roy's kitties are on IM with Blues every day, and you all know

what they can accomplish with a little teeny slap of the paw and a friendly

little neck bite.

So just forgeddabouddit as far as declawing is concerned.

I will gladly serve. However, if I'm going to be Attorney General, I need a

uniform. What sort of uniform should the Texas Attorney General wear?

Buckskin? Wrangler denim? Polyester? How many stars on the epaulet?

I've got a certain aversion to killing polyesters to make clothing for

people. It's the hideous way they kill them by putting electrical probes into

their little, well, better unsaid. And under a Kinkster administration, the

wearing of Naugahide would certainly be prohibited. Naugas will be protected.

I've sat on plenty of Naugahides in various Denney's and Dairy Queens, and I

can tell you that the looks on those little Nauga's faces when they're facing

the booth-maker is heartbreaking. They know what's coming. It shows in

their little eyes.

When I am Attorney General, I shall impose an absolute ban on lawsuits

against EMS personnel, physicians who swear allegiance to EMS, and all ER and

ICU

nurses who can recite the four levels of EMS certifications/licenses in Texas.

I will impose draconian sanctions upon anesthesiologists who refuse to allow

EMS students to intubate, ER physicians and nurses who do not listen to

report, ER nurses who jerk NRB masks off and lambaste the EMTs for putting the

patient on oxygen.

I will also prosecute to the max any paramedic who cannot do the ny and

Roy flip of the yellow plastic thingeys that are in the prefilled epi,

atropine, and lidocaine syringes.
