Hi boys and girls,

Well, today marks my 2 year anniversary since having WLS! I can't believe

it's been this long already!

I marked my day with pain like surgery! I hurt my freaking back at work I

think! UGH! Then, I came home, took a Naproxin, fell asleep, then tried

making homemade spaghetti sauce. Well, what did Blondie do then? She cut

off a chunk of her freaking finger! Nothing major, just a lot of blood, but

I'll be fine. Myself and the bandaids are best buddies for sure!

So, tonight, I'm not doing anything to celebrate, however, I'm celebrating

ME by feeling awesome since losing approx 210 pounds! I'm so happy!

Also, got my blood work results back, all is perfect! :) Iron too! b12

even! :) My cholesterol was 142! Dr. was thrilled!

Gotta go, just sharing!

Dawn-

Congratulations on the anniversary! Sorry to hear that the day wasn't as

pleasant as you'd have liked, though. :-(

By the way...did you tell Ralph that that was the tip of your finger in the

sauce, or just let him believe it was a piece of sausage he was eating???????

hehehehehe

Wow Dawn 210 pounds? You must be so proud of yourself, as are we. I guess you

know what you're doing to have the surgery work out for you.

Now all we need to do is to keep the knives away from you, and let's talk

about safety at work with your back!

Hope you're up to par real soon and all goes back to " normal " .

Thanks for sharing your great success.

I know what you mean when you say you see yourself as a failure when it

comes to losing weight. That hit home with me. All I can think when someone

looks at me or when I go looking for a job is that they think 'she has no

discipline when it comes to food, how can she possibly be disciplined enough

to work here and manage any number of people'? It hurts my heart just

thinking about it. Weight and work are two different things for me.

The surgery can't come soon enough for me, although I'm

not even sure I will be approved. Medicare is my primary insurance right now.

Oh well, just rambling, or thinking out loud or something.

Thanks for sharing.
