Guest guest Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I have a teenager with asthma - since his Dx at 2 yrs., I've had a no smoking policy for our home, car, etc. so..visitors are used to RULES at our house. I don't allow gluten containing goodies to enter - all have been told with all the necessary explanations. Therefore, if they show up with goodies - they stay in their car. I don't feel bad as they were forewarned. As the momma bear of an now 9 year old with multiple autoimmune problems, I feel like my job is to protect him. For relatives who know the scoop to show up with gluten containing goodies that your kids can't eat is not only disrespectful of you, it is cruel to tempt the little ones. Kerri Yahoo!
