Guest guest
Every year my Passover guests look forward to Death by Chocolate. This is the passover recipe I have been using for years. Wonder how I could make them gf this year?? Or do they sell the faux matza cake meal too? Passover Brownies 3 Large eggs 1 1/2 cups sugar 3/4 cup butter, melted 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 1/2 tablespoons matzo cake meal 3/4 cup cocoa 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped 1. Melt butter and set aside. Beat eggs until light. Add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy. Add slightly cooled melted butter and beat will. Add salt, cake meal and cocoa to egg mixture and blend well. Stir in nuts. 2. Grease and dust with cake meal one 9 x 13 pan. Pour in batter and bake at 400º for a bout 20-30 minutes or until done. Sprinkle hot brownies with chocolate shavings or chips and return to oven for a couple of minutes until chocolate melts. Spread melted chocolate evenly over brownies and let cool before cutting. kathi in houston
