thank you all for your comments....nichoals is 10 months old....our

specialist is very rude and does a very bad job at explaining things

to us....the very first time we went to him for a consultation, he

told us that nicholas had a ridge on his forehead which meant his

soft spot closed up prematurely and at that time he didnt want to

put a helmet on him because he was concerned about head growth....we

went back to him 1 month later for a checkup, and he tells us he

thinks nicholas should wear the helmet....now 1 month later he is

telling us that his head didnt grow since he's been wearing the

helmet....so i asked him about the ridge and to explain it to me and

he pretty much freaked out on me and got all defensive....he did

however say that the helmet places (ct) dont believe that wearing

the helmet has anything to do with the babies head not growing and

that he wont allow zero head growth for more than 2 months, but the

helmet companies will allow it for 5-6 months sometimes....

i left there so upset and confused so i went to my pediatrician last

night and he reassured me not to worry, and that being nicholas is

still 75%, he is fine....i'm just so angry that the specialist is

always so impatient....he told me i am anxious....i told him it's my

job to be as a mother....anyway, thanks again for all your

comments....

sorry for the long message....just had to vent....
