Thanks everyone. I've been monitoring the pink spot for a day now and

spoke to CT. Seems we need to go in to check it. Even though it's

only a week he may need an adjustment. I hope I didn't miss it and

it was there for a few weeks :( He has so much hair I'll have to be

more vigilant about looking. I could spend the whole hr. checking

(ha ha)

I had a trying day as my PT quit. We were having troubles so it's

probably best but now we have no therapy as of today. NO call

nothing. She had some lame excuse and said she was uncomfortable. We

have family training and she never has much to say so my husband

asked her if she would mind looking at a vhs that my husband made of

one of his sessions with Chase's OT. And she said she didn't mind.

Now she says she was very uncomfortable with that and uncomfortable

to call and say she quit. Anyway just another annoyance. I think she

felt too much pressue to have improvement. At this point I was

worrried about his tort. regressing because of her.

OK I just have to hope I can find a good one soon. I was going to go

back to the hosp. through the insurance since we were happy with them

and there is no PT avail. a waiting list. He's only seeing the OT

once a month for followup since we've transitioned to the Early

Intervention. It takes forever for them to make changes. So I'm

worried he'll be with nothing too long and he's been resisting the

neck stretches since teething started.

If anyone has worked with Early Intervention in NY and can suggest

and agency and PT I'd really really appreciate it.

Sherry,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're still having trouble with that dang

PT! You had mentioned that she was unprofessional, but everything that

happened to you recently is inexcusable! What a loser! I hope you find

one soon. Sorry I don't live in NY...if you were in Texas I could help

more...sorry! Good luck!

Sherry,

Did she quit her entire job or just you? Can an EI PT just quit one

client? That is weird!

The PTs I have encountered in our experiences have been very open

minded to other ideas. She must be a piece of work!

thanks unprofessional is an understatement. If I had time I'd

report her or something but I need my energies for other stuff.

Anyway I'm mad, sad, overwhelmed just like the rest of us here with

insurance, PT, doctors, CT, spots etc. etc.

Hopefully tomorrow is better when we get the cause of the pink spot

resolved. It's unreal how much time all this takes. I'm working in

the middle of the night since I have no time during the day and

already financially things are not great :(

She just quit us. I suppose they can quit one client. Maybe she

left the agency who knows. I know she works with several agencies and

has a full time job in addition. So she probably doesn't need the $ or

job.

You've probably already done this...but does the PED have another name

or company?

Thanks actually I haven't spoken to the Ped. yet as this just

happened today. She had sent us for therapy in the hosp. for the

interim until the Early Intervention was in place. Now with the PT

shortage the hosptial has a waiting list. So at the moment I'm left

with nothing no early intervention and nothing through the doctor.

I'm going to speak to the ins. company about out of network since

there's no one avail. it seems in network.
