Tim,

When I was itching constantly several years after I was diagnosed and finally asked a dermatologist for help. They prescribed UV/B light therapy. I had a series of light treatments, starting with 12 second exposure, and increasing slowly. I had 2 or 3 treatments a week for about 3 months. After 4 weeks the itching was greatly reduced and then pretty much disappeared. I had a tx 6 months later so I don't know how long the itching relief would have lasted but it was a great relief and didn't require another pill. For some reason my docs never prescribed any of the medications, maybe I wasn't demanding enough, but if you can't find relief, check with a dermatologist. Of course there are some risks for an increase in skin cancers, and some skin types may not be a good candidate, but-- it worked for me.

Take Care
