I thought i would reply because I live in canada too. At 6 months

this is the time you need to be at the specialist. The eye thing

could definitly be from the plagio. If your child has torticollis

it really needs to be looked at. I think you should go to another

ped until they refer you. You chould try calling the children's

hospital where you live and track down who is doing helmet therapy.

Maybe they can point you to a ped who they get refferals from. We

went to 2 peds and one didn't even know what a helmet was even

though he could be reffering his patients to the children's hospital

here. The fact is that some doctors know about it and some don't

some believe in it and some don't. Our ped said don't worry about

the neck or head or face it will round out. We watched his head and

neck get worse and worse since he was two months until he was 14

months. As his hair grows more it looks worse so i just keep

cutting it short. It was the peds bad advice (to not do anything

about his neck) that caused the plagio in the first place. We are

just now getting a doc band from calgary and we are paying for it

our selves. I think it is worth every penny. I think things could

get better on their own but they could get worse on their own too.
