Guest guest
It wasn't bad at all. I drooled a lot when my tongue was clamped though. *blush* Hehe...I haven't eaten anything...It's gonna be slow for a couple days because I have to be real careful so I don't bite down on the barbell. Talking is getting easier. It's just a unigue feeling...I like it though. -- Re: new toys How bad did it hurt ??? And how awkward is it to talk and eat now having the tongue piercing? Guest guest
You forgot wooden spoons We all loved the wooden spoon discussion! -- S Life's too damn short to be so uptight about it all. Re: new toys I have found the things that keep me coming back to this group is the differneces that each of you have. I'm only 3 weeks out, but have been part of this group for about 3 months. I enjoy all the funny things people share, and my heart aches for the sadness some of you go through. I didn't understand some of things everyone spoke of before I had my WLS, but now I feel like I really belong and can share my experiences with others who may want to know certain things. I have learned about bouts of depression, marraiges, colored hair, words of wisdom, infections, karoake, deep sea fishing, motorcycles, tatoos and peircings, food choices, vitamins, hair loss, exercise, dilations, and more from people in this group. I must admit I enjoy reading what everyone has to share with us. Even though I may not want to color my hair blue, or go deep sea fishing or get my nipples peirced... I feel like I am part of a group of people who enjoy being themselves... and that's what make us special! The weight loss surgery is what has brought us together, that is our common bond. What we choose to do on a daily basis is up to us to decide. My personal opinion is that I enjoy reading all the goofy and serious things people have to share... others may not. My suggestion is to just delete those notes you don't want to read. Kim Fitchburg
