Guest guest
Hi everybody, this is a reminder that the Missouri DeafBlind Project is sponsoring a 3 day topical workshop on CHARGE syndrome on May 15-17, 2006. The workshop will be presented by Brown, Michele Westmaas and me. Ideally, the workshop would be attended by a parent and as many members of the child's team as possible. But if only a parent or only some of the team can attend, that's ok, too. There is no registration fee for anyone; breakfast, lunch and all handouts are provided. Hotel room fee for the parent will be covered by the MO DB Project!! All you provide is transportation and dinner costs. If you would like to attend, please contact Larry at Missouri School for the Blind ASAP (see below) so he can hold a slot for you. Even if you don't know if any of your team can come, let Larry know now. The registration deadline is April 14 - by that date you need to let Larry know who is coming from your team. Missouri residents will be given first priority. If you are from a neighboring state, you can register and may able to attend if we do not fill with MO residents. After the registration deadline of 4/14, Larry will contact those form other states in the order received. The MO DB Project can't pay for hotel for non-MO families, but there still is no registration fee for the workshop. Larry lrhodes@... Registration info and materials can be found at MO School for the Blind website: www.msb.k12.mo.us - click on the Professional Development link: CHARGE syndrome workshop Hope to see lots of you there!
