,

I posted a message to you earlier but I see it didn't go through. I

am sorry about the loss of your son. I lost a daughter at 19 weeks

so I understand what you are feeling. My daughter was born alive but

because of only being 19 weeks, there is nothing that could be done.

She only lived for about 10 minutes. It's good that you were able to

hold your son and have that time with him. I think it helped me with

the grief process. I have a 2 year old daughter and had no problems

with my cervix and they are not sure if it was an incompetent cervix

this time or an infection or what and it is frustrating to not know

the cause. I ended up with retained placenta, infection and then a

d & c which has led to my AS. The best advice I can give you is to look

at our A list and see if there is a way to see one for another

opinion. I was also concerned that you were told that it is ok to

conceive with only 50% cleared. I would hate to see you have to go

through the hear break again if it can be prevented. I wish you lots

of lucka nd I am sorry that you have AS but happy that you found this

group.
