Guest guest Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Sorry TK--a miscommunication--The question was about ALA. I have never used DMSA. I am using 75 mg ALA every 3 hours and have been doing this off and on for months. The amount I am taking is 1/2 mg per lb of body weight. The question is, " Should I increase the amount of ALA from 75 mg since I am not having ANY symptoms? " My weight is now 156. Guest guest Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Okay, thanks. I am confused on one thing...should we be having some kind of symptoms while chelating or is it good not to have any? Someone mentioned that if you have no symptoms you are not releasing mercury from the brain. Lee Re: TK-increase ALA?? - Lee > > Sorry TK--a miscommunication--The question was about ALA. Guest guest Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Okay, thanks. I don't think I could possibly done this soon but it would be nice if I was. I had 8 amalgams taken out in the last year to year and one half. The hair test done in February 2006 showed the typical patterns of mercury problems. I am planning to continue and do a new hair test in one year to see what has changed. Also am working on Thyroid. Guest guest Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 TK--- your Hg load may be low or possibly you are just tollerating chelation well, either way it is a good thing. > > > > > > Sorry TK--a miscommunication--The question was about ALA. > > > > TK--- yup, my fault, got confused with another thread. > > > > I have never used DMSA.
