Hi Amy,

I have several friends who are huge Curves fans too. As for me, I have a

treadmill and a bike as well as weights here so I don't have any excuse to not

exercise :-) I just don't eat until I have finished my workout, so it gets me

motivated to get it over with in the morning before work. It might be nice to

have other women to chat with during my workout though. I definitely don't get

the social interaction.

Amy, do you like Curves? I was seriously thinking about joining.

Honestly, I don't remember the name of the beta blocker off the top

of my head, its in a blue box (he gave me free samples) and its

50mg. I know that much. Ha, ha. Thanks for all your continued

support.

Jill

> Jill Congratulations on a great neph visit! Did you have anything

going on that might have raised your creatinine? Sinus infection or

something like that? When I was in 6 weeks ago mine was above my

baseline at 2.4 but I was just recovering from an infection...this

time round it was back down to 2.0. I know how you feel about

wanting to be off of at least one pill. I was so hoping to be off

the pred in under a year but it looks like it's going to be a year

and beyond. I keep reminding myself it's doing it's thing and I

should consider myself lucky that it did. So I guess I can deal

with the slow weaning process. Which Beta blocker did you start

on? I hope it helps with the heart stuff you have going on.

> It's great that your neph gives you some long term ideas of

what will happen. Whenever I ask mine " so once I'm off the

prednisone what will we do? " His answer with a huge smile everytime

is " talk to me when you are off the prednisone. " He doesn't like to

say anything without labs to back up his decisions, I guess I can

live with that.

>

> Congrats again on the weight loss too! I'm slowly starting to

head in that direction after 3 weeks at Curves 3x/week.

ya know I really think the social interaction part is what keeps me going.

As a stay at home, work out of the home, homeschooling mom of two without any

close neighbors around to talk to ....nearest house is 1/2 mile down the road

and their kids are very young....I really find myself needing adult conversation

at times. Plus going and seeing women my size and larger working out and

working toward a common goal keeps me motivated..something my treadmill won't do

for some reason. ;o)
