Guest guest
Hey there! For those of you following my tummy trouble saga- I finally had my endoscopy yesterday - with no sedation. The doctor and nurses were impressed - it was a very strange experience. I wouldn't advise it for the squeamish!! The good news is that there is only some mild inflammation, a small hiatel hernia and some weird throat gland swelling (he thinks from frequent boughts of strep throat). I thought that meant " good for you, go home! " But, the doctor (young and good-looking, I might add - ugghhh..) said he was worried because I had a lot of problems (nausea, vomiting, diarreah) not explained by a clean endoscopy.. So he said the plan is to do a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis with contrast.. Which is fine with me as long as a three foot long tube won't be invading my body! Now, if that comes back clean, he said we'll blame it on a bum digestive pacemaker. Which makes sense to me because it feels like my stomach moves too slowly and my bowels move too quickly. SO I guess he is looking for gallbladder disease or something. Anyone know what else he might be looking for? Other than that, I am up a 1/4 grain this week, so I have a little more zing than usual Misty Misty msl5858@... Look not mournfully into the past. It comes not back again. Wisely improve the present. It is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future, without fear. -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882) __________________________________ Yahoo!
