Guest guest Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Can anybody tell me if it is safe to chelate with ALA if you have a gold crown? Or is porcelain the best way to go? Quote
Guest guest Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 TK--- Either is supposed to be fine, do some compatibility testing to make sure which is preferable for you if any, porcelain, gold, diamond crown etc. > > Can anybody tell me if it is safe to chelate with ALA if you have a > gold crown? Guest guest Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Thanks for the reply. That is a a relief. I already told the dentist to make it in gold and afterward wondered if I had made a mistake. My Clifford Materials Reactivity Test did not come back with gold being one of the things that my blood reacted to. Hopefully I won't develop a sensitivity to it over time. Guest guest Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 The quality of " gold " crowns can vary greatly. I have one that was done by a holistic dentist, but I had to request that he use the highest noble metal content available, which very few dentists use. To be called a gold crown, they only have to contain something like 40% gold and the rest can be bad metals like palladium. Mine was something like 96% gold, with a little platinum and one other that I can't remember. -m > > Can anybody tell me if it is safe to chelate with ALA if you have a > gold crown? Guest guest Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I went to a dentist that said she was sending a copy of my clifford materials reactivity test to the place where they make the crown. I asked her what else was in it besides gold and she replied, " other precious metals but nothing toxic " . For what I'm paying for it it ought to be good quality. I hope so.
