Guest guest
Hi, I have just found this message board. I was diagnosed with IGA nephropathy in November 2003. At the time I was 13 weeks pregnant with my third child. It was a very stressfull time for us, hoping to make it through the pregnancy with a positive outcome for both of us. I delivered a healthy baby boy at 37 weeks (induced due to pre- eclampsia) and am now starting to really try to understand this disease. I am hoping joining this group will help lead me to some answers to try and figure out what exactly to expect. I hope everyone is doing well. Guest guest
Hi Vikki, Welcome to the group I'm glad you found us. You are among quite a few women who had IgAN detected while pregnant. I'm happy to hear you delivered a happy healthy boy, Congratulations! The best place to start would be to peruse our sister site at www.igan.ca and then go thru the links provided there for further info. Search the internet for information and ask away with questions here in this forum. The people her are great at finding answers or just being there when you need to vent. Welcome again and remember you are not alone with this. Amy Also new here > Hi, I have just found this message board. I was diagnosed with IGA > nephropathy in November 2003.
