Guest guest
Well, I got a new job, so I've been pretty busy. I'm suppposed to be working part-time, but I've been training full-time. And I've just fallen right off the wagon. I just ordered the Weight Watchers at home kit and I really want to get started. All of my pants are getting so tight and with the holidays....ugh! I really want to lose weight, but it's so easy to eat horribly with the convenience and low cost of fast food! Anyway, DH said he would do WW with me, which I think will be very helpful. I just need to get back in the habit of cooking meals and not just throwing something together at the last minute. I'm also going crazy because my scale only goes up to 330 and I'm over that...so I can't see what I'm losing, if anything. Although I should be motivated because if I lose around 10 or 15 lbs I can actually see my weight again! Anyway, enough of my ranting and raving.....I can do this!! Guest guest
Gail, This is my last week of full-time working. I'm actually pretty much through training....next week I'll be working part-time hours. I got my WW at Home kit yesterday and I've been reading through the materials and am ready to get started!! I have got to lose this weight! And you're right, we'll be able to weigh 'normally' soon!! > , > > Congrats on the new job. How long does the full-time training last? Hopefully things will settle down for you soon. You're right, you can do this and it's great that DH is going to do it right along with you. I understand how you feel about the scale though. I can't step on a regular scale and when I w/i at TOPS, I have to use a special weight that they add to the scale. I can't wait till they can put that away. I too, only have 15# to go before that happens, we can do this together. Take care. > > Gail > > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
, Glad things are settling down for you and that you received your WW home kit. I rejoined my old chapter of TOPS so I am hoping the change will do me good. I went out this weekend and bought me a pretty journal with pink paper in it and it has roses on the pages too. I really need to get serious about this. I see too many health problems in my family due to obesity and I don't want to be like that when i'm in my 40's. Take care and good luck starting WW. Guest guest
thanks Barb....Barb wrote: Good luck this week, Gail. A pound isn't much to gain. Barb Re: I'm still alive! Gained a pound, but that is okay. With all the baking and cooking I did over the Thanksgiving holiday, I was surprised it wasn't more. We'll see how w/i goes this week.
