Be a Weight Tracker! If you haven't seen it already, check out my site's new Weight Tracker tool! It makes it easy to keep track of your weekly weigh-ins and stay motivated—a bar graph shows exactly how far you've come! Just input your goal weight, your current weight, and your weight at each weigh-in, and the Weight Tracker will do the rest! At a glance you can view charts tracking your progress, your ideal BMI and body-weight ranges, how much you've lost so far, details of your plan choices, and more! Wow! It's never been easier to keep the momentum going! So don't delay—start tracking today! Enhance your plan with NEW EXERCISES! I've added new Walks and Mini-Routines to Fit Forever! You're going to love them!If you're not a member of Fit Forever!, then sign up now!

If you eat your meals or snacks in front of the television, watch out! Experts say you could end up eating more than you realize. The same goes for eating in front of the computer—eating while driving, studying, or reading! That's because studies show that whenever there's a distraction at hand, people will eat significantly larger portions and not even notice!

So, while the pace of our busy lives pushes us to constantly multitask, give yourself a break when it comes to mealtime. Sit down at the table and really savor your food. Eat slowly, chewing each bite. Don't let your thoughts wander. Stay in the moment. Enjoy how the food tastes, smells, and looks. Feel the cues your body sends as you begin to feel satisfied. While it may sound too simple to be true, paying attention while you dine is one of the best ways to make sure you don't overeat. So go ahead, stop what you're doing and enjoy your food!

If you've had success on my plan, tell me all about it! I would love to hear your story, and so would your fellow Fit Forever! members. Help inspire others by sharing your accomplishments, your challenges, and what kept you motivated to succeed!Email me at: successstory@...!And yours could be the next success story featured on Austin.com!

Does late night snacking trip you up? Fight back with these tips from other Fit Forever! members for taming the midnight munchies:

Try sipping a cup of hot herbal tea, like chamomile.

Eat a pickle instead of something sweet! The sourness cuts the craving to snack—at just five calories per spear.

Eat dinner a little later, between 7 and 8 p.m., and you won't be so hungry before bed.

Pop in a workout tape and get moving! The urge to snack will pass and you'll have burned calories instead of consuming them!

Brush your teeth after dinner to signal you're done eating for the night.

If a certain evening snack allowed on the plan is triggering a binge, like chocolate chip cookies, avoid it and choose another instead!

If you're not a member of Fit Forever!, then sign up now!

Don't be afraid to ask questions when dining out! It's your responsibility to make healthy choices, not your waiter's.
