Congratulations Fawn!! Good luck with the pregnancy. I think that if you

eat healthy and exercise you will be just fine. I was worried with my

second and I gained about 35 lbs. I lost it all after having him.

First of all, congratulations! I know the beauty of feeling pregnancy

symptoms. Seems like morning sickness isn't so bad when it means a healthy

pregnancy! :)

>I actually only had about 15 to lose, but did it) and was feeling good

about

>where I'd be when I got pregnant again but after the mcs I just lost focus

last

(very

>vigorous) walks and eating more sensibly but wouldn't mind shedding a few

>pounds. This probably isn't safe though is it? Anyone know

This is almost exactly where I was with this pregnancy. I gained 60 pounds

with and was a very big person! I lost all of it plus 10 pounds.

Then came Thanksgiving. I gained 5 pounds then, and then next found out I

was pregnant. I would say follow a modified WW plan-ask if they have a

calorie list/point recommendation for pregnant women. I have done

' Deal a Meal to lose weight and also to gain sensibly with this

pregnancy. I did the same obsessing about getting big again, but I'm 36

weeks pregnant now and have gained 25 pounds. Let me know if you want to

discuss it more-I'm here to listen! :)

Love,

(oh-I'm new here and planned on lurking for awhile, but I just

can't!!)

Fawn,

It seems to be pretty frowned upon to lose weight while pregnant. You would

be better off exercising consistently (can help with morning sickness too)

and just eating a normal balanced diet with the goal of limiting weight

gain. If you have been exercising it is okay to continue aerobics through

your pregnancy, but if you haven't been active then you need to keep to a

pretty easy regime.

Toning exercises (in combination with your walking) would help you to feel

better. Soup cans make good hand weights, and lots of leg exercises can be

done without getting down to the floor.

The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology even has a pregnancy

exercise video available. Look for it at the local library.

Congratulations on your pregnancy,

Amy Lynn M.

Fawn,

Oh, I am so happy for you!! YAY!!!!! And just think, the " signs " of

pregnancy are indications of those pregnancy hormones continuing to

rise! It's a good sign when you're nauseous! lol

I say lose the weight later and enjoy this pregnancy to the fullest! :D
