Guest guest Posted October 21, 2004 Report Share Posted October 21, 2004 for the thoughts and prayers. It seems that is all I can think about the last couple of days. I called to make an appointment for the mammogram. The lady who was going to set it up said I needed to have an ultrasound instead. She said the breast tissue in women under 35 is more dense, and a mammogram might miss something so, for my age, an ultrasound is better. I have an appointment with my gp on the 27th to get a referral for the ultrasound...so it might be longer before I know something. I hate the waiting.
