Guest guest
na's plagio was inutero. It wasn't as bad as Dominick's or Hannah's but the odd angles were definite inutero. It was not diagnosed at birth, b/c well let's be honest their heads look goofy for a few days. A lot does round out, for example Kiersten's front lamboid (I think) sutures overlapped terrible at birth - freaked us out - fine by 4 weeks. So, back to inutero. I discussed with my OB. She made me promise not to freak out if baby #2 settled in low in the pelvis early. na was always low but dropped at least 10 days early to a +1 (which means under the pubic bone). She said the head could be fixed the main thing she worries about is getting us both through a healthy pregnancy and delivery. There was nothing she could do about the baby's chosen position except delivery and she would not do it early just for head shape - I agreed with her rational. Kiersten didn't drop early but does have some flattening that is strikingly similar to na's (specifically the right temple). Kiersten, 4 months, repo & tort na 2 yrs, DOC Grad, tort resolved www.thefilyaws.com/plagio/plagio.html > > Anyone who's child had inutero Plagio....how long did it take to diagnose, > was it due to fetal positioning, should the doctor have known the skull was > receiving too much pressure?
