Guest guest
My son goes to summer school and we get up at 8am, well at 7:45 I get a call from my boyfriends grandpa, he'll be 99 the end of this month, his breathing sounded awefull and he kept saying we needed to come over, he lives next door. I woke up my boyfriend and 4 minutes later him and grandpa were headed to the ER. Now there is no chance of going back to sleep, I have already had 3 phone calls since starting this post and I have a feeling there will be a couple more. We moved to St. Louis 3 and a half years ago so that we could be close to him and so our son could get the right kind of help, he has Down Syndrome. Grandpa is 20 years older then my grandparents and in better shape, he has a garden, he grows all sorts of things like tomatoes, strawberries, beets, cabbage, cuccumbers, and last year he tried corn and carrots. This is the first time he has really worried me. I think I should go start some coffee, I'm not a drinker and don't know if I even have coffee in there but it will give me something to do. Sorry for babbeling on and on, I'm just so worried. We've joked for years about him living forever but the reality of it all is a bit too close for my comfort right now. I think I may go do some dishes to get my mind somewhere else. BRANDY
Guest guest
(((((((((()))))))))))) My husbands grandpa lived independently until he passed away at 98. He owned a huge plot of land and used to farm. He was a neat man and he lived a full life. I hope things work out for your grandpa and that it's something simple that they can take care of. Please keep us posted, you and your family are in my thoughts.
