Don't give up that you might find that wonderful person to come in your life. I got married later that most people and I thought my chances were getting pretty slim when I met my husband. But more importantly, I've seen posts from other people on the various fibro groups I'm on, whose uncaring, cold spouses left them, and then a new, wonderful caring person came into their lives. These people came even though they knew the person they met had a serious, disabling disease, and they've stuck by them. So there is hope for you too, and I'll pray about it for you.
