Yes, my daughter graduated from her DOCBand in 2003. She was dx at

4.5 months with Scaphy but wasn't banded until she was 8.5 months

and wore her band until she was 11.5 months. She had outgrown her

band and I really wanted her to wear a 2nd, but upon getting the rx

for the 2nd, we discovered her sutures had fused and she wouldn't

receive anymore correction than what she had already rec'd.

I did not want to know the measurements at the beginning or at the

end. They can be subjective and frustrating. I went on photos and

eyeballing her correction.

She looks wonderful today and is doing just great! I don't regret a

single decision I made during this process and trust me, that 4

months between the dx and the actual fitting, was a nightmare, but

worth every waking hour spent to get her banded.

, it sounds to me that you are doing a wonderful job with

's plagio. You ultimately make the decision on whether to band

or not, he still has time to be banded if you wanted to continue

repoing him for a bit. I have heard that the older they get, the

harder it is to repo. Christie or another repo mom would be able to

answer those questions, sorry.
