Guest guest
Whether to stop histamine depends on why they are there. MAST cells protect you from the environment that comes in with food. If IgG's are problem you would not want to tame those down as they protect you from invading bacteria and viruses also. If IgE are the problem then those are allergens that are harmless and a histamine would be all you would need. I doubt it is as simple as a histamine problem. You'd want to know why histamines are reacting. Doctors rarely look for the cause and that's why they and their medicines tend to cause more illness, than they resolve. --- Alessa wrote: > Hi , > Here's what the handout says: > > Functions of Intestinal Mucous Layer > (Epithelial Layer): > The mucous layer also referred to as the > epithelial layer, is a very > thin, one cell thick wet area that lines the > intestinal walls, lungs, > eyes, nasal cavities and vaginal wall.
