Hey guys I found these recipies in another " muscle

magazine " they are loaded with protein, so for all you

pre and post ops who need more protien here you go.

also there are two web sties at the end to find more

recipies on

Recipe Collection with Protein for Body builders

*** Replace any sugar with Splenda or Brown Sugar

Substitute

Bread Pudding- 4 servings

Preheat Oven to 350.

Mix 1/2c egg substitute, 1c. Skim milk, 2T brown

Sugar, and ½ t vanilla. Spray a muffin pan with

nonstick spray. Soak 1 piece of sourdough bread in

milk, then use a glass or cookie cutter to cut round

pieces of bread. Place bread in bottom of muffin tin

(4 to 8 depending on size of tin). Pour egg mixture

over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 25 min.

Remove from oven and chill for at least one hour.

Raspberry-Peach Cobbler- 6 servings

Preheat over to 375.

Mix 1/3 c skim milk, 1/3c half and half, 1 egg, 2 T

flour, ½ t vanilla extract, and 1 scoop protein powder

in a medium bowl until there are no lumps. Set aside

Open and can of peaches (no syrup) and drain

thoroughly. Heat 5 T Just Fruit raspberry preserves in

microwave for 30 seconds, or until liquid. Spread

raspberry preserves in bottom of a 9” greased pan. Put

one layer of peaches on top of preserves.

Pour egg and milk mixture over peaches. Cook for 35

min or until bubbly and golden brown. Chill for one

hour, and then sprinkle on top w/ Equal

Frozen vanilla mousse-4 servings

Beat 2 egg whites to soft peaks. Gradually beat in 2

scoops of vanilla protein powder and 2T of powdered

sugar. Continue to beat stiff peaks and set aside.

Whip 2c of chilled skim milk until frothy with

immersion blender. Gradually beat in 2T powdered sugar

until the milk develops a medium stiff peaks. Add 1t

vanilla and ¼t grated lemon zest, mix well.

Divide equally among dessert cups and cover and freeze

until semi-firm.

Wild Strawberry gelatin- 6 servings

Prepare one 3-oz package wild strawberry flavored

gelatin according to pkg directions, adding 3 scoops

of vanilla protein powder before the hot water. Chill

for 6 hours.

Remove gelatin and beat until totally aerated. Add 8oz

plain or vanilla FF yogurt and beat until smooth.

Scoop into wine glasses garnish as desired.

Pineapple cheesecake- 12 servings

Combine 1c finely ground low-fat vanilla wafers and 2T

melted margarine in a bowl. Mix well. Press a layer

onto the bottom of a medium pie pan.

Combine 4 scoops vanilla protein powder, 3 oz lemon

flavored gelatin, and 1c boiling water in a sauce pan.

Stir until gelatin had completely dissolved and cooled

a bit.

Combine 2 ½ c low fat cottage cheese and 1T granulated

sugar in a blender or food processor.

With motor running, add gelatin mixture in a thin,

steady stream, and process until well blended. Pour

into prepared crust and chill thoroughly.

Heat 8 ½ oz crushed pineapple in juice in a small

sauce pan, over a medium flame. Combine 1T water and

2t cornstarch to make a paste.

Stir cornstarch mixture into pineapple heat and stir

until mixture comes just to a boil and thickens.

Remove from heat and cool completely. Spread on top of

Cheesecake and shill thoroughly. Serve chilled.

Chocolate w/ wafers- 1 serving

Place a scoop of chocolate protein powder and 1T

chocolate sugar-free, ff pudding in a stainless steel

mixing bowl. Set OVER a pan of boiling water.

Stir in hot water drop by drop to make a thick paste.

Heat and stir, scrapping bottom, until mixture becomes

smooth. Remove from heat, spoon in a dessert cup.

Serve warm with a handful of low-fat vanilla wafers on

side.

Café Mocha- 1 serving

Combine 1 scoop chocolate protein powder and 1 T

sugar, and 2 oz milk in a large coffee cup. Brew one

serving of espresso. Froth milk mixture with steamer

until sugar and protein powder have been completely

incorporated. Add espresso, serve hot

Power-Packed tapioca Pudding- 6 serving

Combine ¼ c sugar, 3 scoops vanilla protein powder, 3T

minute brand tapioca, 2 ¾ c skim milk and one well

beaten egg in a sauce pan.

Let stand for 4-5 min. Place over a medium flame, heat

and stir until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove

from heat. Stir in 1t vanilla and allow to stand for

20 min.

Spoon into cups, serve warm or chilled.
