Guest guest
I'm sorry, I find the term " blonde moment " very offensive. Yes, I am blonde, and I am really tired of my hair color being connected to stupidity. It just gets old, kwim? My whole life I have dealt with peoples (usually men's) often bizarre assumptions about me, all based on my hair color. It really is ridiculous. I don't need to log on to my breastfeeding support list and read it here, too. I know you probably meant it to be funny, but it isn't. BTW, if you're wondering if something like this is acceptable or not, try substituting other characteristics people are born with -- skin color, cultural identity, etc and see how that sounds. You wouldn't say, " Gee, I seem to have had a Jewish moment " , or " Gosh, I just had a Black moment " would you?
