Thanks Joan and ,

I was sort of wondering about that post RAI period and how fast

one recovers. My doctor has scheduled me for a post ablation scan and

she has prescribed 125mg of Synthroid and 25?mg of Cytomel (only for

a week) beginning on day 3.

For following scans down the road, how long does one have to do

the hypo and LID routine? Does one always do LID for those? When

might they begin using cytogen instead of 3 weeks of going hypo?

Yes, , you have it right. The doctor wants me to go hypo

for 3 weeks. I have already cooked most of my dinner entrees and have

them in the freezer but I am having trouble getting enough protein

during the day. I'm guessing about this, since I seem to get

<extreemly> hungry and tired between lunch and when I am able to eat

dinner which is pretty late at night. I need to fine tune this LID

stuff!

I'm also wondering if people who generally function on the low

end of the general energy average (this is me)ususally have a more

difficult time with getting more tired during the hypo time. I know

everyone is different and wondered if there is any correlation

between general energy levels and hypo energy levels.

Again thanks.

By the way, how does this web site work? Are there regular

paid/volunteer facilitators who help out and are generally more

knowledgable than the average person who is trying to learn for the

first time? Several people sound like they respond frequently and

seem to know a lot about thyca.
