Sorry for all the run-around you are getting trying to have the HSG

done. I can't believe the dr can't be availabe one of the days it

works for you! At least they've come up with a way to work around it

and you will be able to have it done this month!

I've never had an HSG, but I've had plenty of medical tests when I

was a teenager (digestional/intestinal problems). I was never able

to change in the room where the actual test was done, but they always

gave you 2 of those lovely hospital gowns...one to put on backwards

and then put the other one of top of it so your butt wouldn't hang

out!!! So maybe if you could ask for another gown if they only give

you one...

I guess I'm learning a lot because I've never really been to the

hospital for any kind of procedure. I will request two robes!

rather humiliating.

I hope I get a " butt-proof " robe too! Here I was thinking it'd be

like going to the gyne where you just undress and lay on the table.

I've got my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. I'm hoping for low (or

Hi, I had mine in a hospital. A nurse took me to a little room and

had me change clothes. She gave me a sheet to drape around my waist

so that my bottom wouldn't hang out of my gown. There was some lady

walking around who looked like she was in labor. I felt like such a

Good! I'm glad that I made someone laugh today. I felt really stupid

walking down the hallway with this sheet draped around my waist. And

of all places, it's located near the maternity ward! The

procedure wasn't that bad--just maybe 2 minutes of major pain and

then it was over. Good luck! Janice
