I agree, insanity is worse than craziness. I've never fit in either, so why am

I surprised that I have a son who doesn't either?

RE: Re: Star Trek

We can be scary together...

Matt got me a Celtic ornamental dagger for Valentine's day once, along with

a box of chocolates. I said, " Steel and chocolate -- what more could a girl

ask for?!? "

I used to get asked that too.

On this one, Jim stops working look at me, does not blink and tells

me to tell you not to bring a knife to a phaser fight. I have no

clue the meaning of this. I don't think Putter is Boone Light, I

think Jim is.......

decoration? Just don't tell him that I also have a training manual

for using it.

Yea, I know that feeling all to well.

My existance in school was...well...very strange.

And since when does hanging out with a bunch of guys playing Dungeons and

Dragons mean you are out to steal everyones boyfriends? I never did understand

that logic.

I don't know.

and I were just discussing that I am not very femanine (or however that is

spelled). It is just not something that I can do. I was born without that gene

(claims it may have been beaten into submission). I don't think I ever

had it. I think he would prefer someone more femanine, at least on the surface,

but I just don't see the point of the stupid " female games " that women like

*that* play and so forth. Sigh. and I fit well together. I don't think

that a femanine woman would be able to understand him or even tollerate him....

I don't think he realizes this.

Then again...I might just be babbling mindlessly again.

Uh....

Now that you mention that....

Oh god! Now you have me thinking....

? No. He was definatly autistic in that Albert Einstein sort of way. I

am not sure he even had use for girls

? No

Bruce? No.

Troy. Yes. I would have went out with Troy...well, for a while I would have.

Then I found out what taste in girls he had and I was sorely dissapointed and

having thought better of him than that totaly ruined my opinion of him.

Jerry? I think he could have had a girlfriend if he had the common sense to

actually think of girls as more than bumpy guys.

The Yurko twins...Well, Nick had a girlfriend. I think Ray did to. Not sure on

that one. Although they were identical girls did favor Nick for some reason and

he was a putz.

Well, those are the only ones that I remember....

Ok. I actually get this joke and I'm not a Trekker (or Trekkie) ;-)

This is a joke with a reference to the movie the " Untouchables " .

Also Boone is a pacifist so I don't think he would like knives or

phasers. ;-)

When and I were getting pre-wedding counseling, our counselor (who was

a dear friend of mine) observed that we had " bartered for what we didn't

have. " ie: I am super organized, can work on a computer program for

days on end and literally forget to eat ... When our differences begin to

frustrate me, I remind myself of this. In a chaotic world, men like ours

can be refreshingly predictable (in a good way) and steadfast (when they

aren't making you crazy).

Uh, I want to say if you don't get it never mind that you won't get it but I

will attempt to explain.

On Deep Space Nine there was a character named Jadzia Dax. She was a humanoid

with lots of spots (Trill). Anyway, her race carries on a symbiotic

realationship with another race (that look like large slugs), more or less.

Jadiza was host to one of the slugs. Now the slugs normally live many many

generations and they take the memories of each host and give it to the next one,

it's look upon as a gift. Jadzia had the memories of something like 7 people

who lived before her.

Does that help.
