Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Thanks for your response. It definitely isn't an infection (luckily!) I saw my surgeon yesterday and he said that I'm doing fine. I have been drinking lots of water and watching the salt intake, but I have not tried the hot compresses. I heard that they tend to increase swelling. Did they work for you? I think you are right about the mirror. I'm going to try and avoid it for awhile. I can't wait to get back to my normal life!! Thanks for your help! Hillary > Hi Hillary, > > Yes, some people still have lingering swelling past the 4 week mark. > Is it greater on one side than the other? Does it feel hot to the > touch?
