Guest guest
I think that some of the effectiveness is lost when it is taken with, or shortly after, a meal. I noticed that in order to maintain proper blood levels, I had to switch from 3 hour intervals to 2 1/2 on DMSA. This has made rounds much easier on me. When I would take the DMSA just before a meal or just after, I'd get slightly symptomatic before my next dose. This past round I tried to wait 15-30 minutes after a dose to eat, and that seemed to help. I don't think it's possible all the time because some of us are hypoglycemic, and putting off meals for an extra hour can be just plain nasty. Better said, we become so. Just something to keep in mind, I guess.
