Guest guest
speakin go HSP, I have often wondered if more of us have it than originally thought. I was originally diagnosed with IGA through a biopsy. It wasn't until a few months ago that another doctor taking a history suggested HSP. He referred me back to the neph, who after reviewing the medical history more carefully agreed with HSP. (Although I have never had the rash) I was wondering something. I know it can effect different organs, one of them being the brain. How can you tell? Is it old age that is causing me to be forgetful? I swear I am losing serious IQ points. My gp assumes that the neph checks these things for any complicaitons and he assumes she does.

Guest guest
Hi , I was symptomatic for IgAN but undiagnosed for HSP for probably the first 17 years or so! I would guess there are probably others who also have HSP and don't know it yet, but I sure hope not!
