Hey folks, Does anyone out there know of a 911 service in the DFW area (especially in the northern areas) that hires people at the EMT-B level? I've been an EMT-B for over 15 years (out of the industry for about 1 1/2 years now) and I am looking to get back into the industry and possibly getting into a paramedic program as well. Lifeguard is the form Dallas Ambulance and they have just moved over to Farmers Branch area. Lonestar is on Rd just off 635, and they do transferes and I think that they also do 911 for Sasha (sp?) just north of Garland, or they did. MedCare based in Irving is a transport/special event service. Greater Dallas EMS (located just down Hall St from Balyor) is a transfer/special event provider. But, they are not in a safe neighborhood...you may get your car broken into. Ameritech is Euless is a good place to work. They have new units and are kept in a good working order. The owner does not believe in running " junk " for ambulances. The ME transport can be another world...saw some good things while Dallas Ambualnce had the contract.
