Guest guest
A good way to avoid any junk mail is to start off w/ a new id. and when you sign up for the new id...there is a survery they make you fill out that asks you " what do you like? " and you have to check off all this stuff like hobbies, interests, etc. the BEST thing to do is check NOTHING. leave it all blank. just don't show any interest in anything. this will stop all the junk mail you get. i have tried this in yahoo w/ two different ids and in hotmail w/ two different ids. the proof is in the ones where i checked off nothing in the survey section. i get ZERO junk mail in the one where i checked off nothing. i hope this helps. this group is a big help and i would hate to see your disappear just because of all that dammed spam mail. -jen

Guest guest
Are you getting the posts in your e-mail? I just come on the site to read them, and I don't think I have significant spam or junk... Maybe if you change your options so that you only read on the site, it'll make it easier. Worth a try, I'd think. Guest guest
Hi Guys: Yes, I tried editing my membership, and I never did (even from the start) check off any of the survey stuff. I did, however, initially have the posts coming in as emails, but that became a bit cumbersome, so I changed it. However, while I'm not getting the posts, I'm still getting spammed. SO, maybe I'll try and kill the existing ID and try a new one, as suggested. Thanks. Hopefully, and in the famous words of you know who, " I'll be back.
