Biull,

My story is either a short story or a very long story.

The short story is that I am in one degree of heart failure or another,

which has not been confirmed by any medical doctors, as I have not seen

one since they gave me a clean bill of health, just before I I crashed

and got really, really sick again.

Cutler's Protocol, has brought me back to life to a certain degree, but

my heart is actually worse.

The thyroid forum got me to increase my thyroid, Well, my temps never

came up, and my pulses never went up much, and I never had any other

overt hyper thyroid symptoms, but my heart kept getting worse and

worse, so I finally dropped down a few grains of Armour and got some

relief that way. Before that, I thought I was a dead duck.

There are some degree of adrenal issues going on as I am taking

prednisolone, and ever since I started working with

glucocorticosteroids, I get heart pounding very easily or when woken up

by the telephone.

However, this is not to be confused with the heart pounding I get from

even just slight exertion. Some days are MUCH better or worse than

others.

Now here is what I still find very interesting and mysterious. 15 years

ago I moved to Mammoth Lakes, a ski town over heavy geothermal activity

below (caldera).

I was very strong, and would hike up mountains and run up hillsides

just for fun.

After living there for about a year, I quite suddenly got sort of sick

and could not go to work, and within 2 days I was in full blown mercury

attack and was going to emergency 2-3 times a week where they were

exasperated as they could find nothing wrong with me except for the

tachycardia that would present itself. Theuy gave me medication for

high blood pressure, and that medication itself sent me right into

emergency again.

I lived in these death defying attacks until this very special doctor

told me I was mercury toxic and that I had to have my fillngs out.

Well, it took me moths to arrange to actually have this done, meantime

living in attacks, but as soon as I had the biggest fillings out, my

attacks stopped cold.

Now, the reason I am telling you all this, is that I still have hope

that mercury might be at the core of some of my heart problems. BEFORE

all this happened, I was strong as an ox. AFTER this happened, I have

never really been able to exercise since. The one thing they did was to

give me lots of EDTA IV's (not recommended) after the amalgam removal,

and I did feel that my ability to walk up slopes had improved markedly.

However, I never really regained my ability to exercise.

About 12 years later, I moved back to the same mountain town, and I

started having more problems, not linking it to the locale, but within

a year of being back there, I had a worse crash than the first time, or

at least a little different as this time there were many serious

stresors and loss in my life.

So it APPEARS to me that I get some kind of heavy metal exposure in

that area (it is high in arsenic) and that perhaps that has affected my

heart. DUnno. I am only hoping and praying that there is some kind of

neurological connection between my severe sensitivity to mercury and my

heart.

I have one older report that thought they saw a slightly enlarged

heart, and more recent ones thqat siad they did not. ONe said the aorta

was very slightly, I forget the word, but it means distended and with a

little extra curve.

SO Mike, you tell me. SOme days I think I am not gong to make it much

longer, and then others are better. I think a lot of this might be

chronic fatigue type of heart failure, but then that is mostly casued

by mercury . If you haven't read it before, since you have mercury

problems, you should be interested in, and this is CHeny's articles on

CHronic Fatigue. Very interesting, how it all fits together.

Here are some of the links. Not necessarily in order, and there may be

duplicates, but they'll get you there.

Inga,

Your story sounds a lot like mine. I was an athlete in the National

Softball Hall of Fame and then May 27, 2005, I crashed, as in waking up in the

middle of the night shaking, trembling, BP off the charts, etc. I felt like

someon had injected me with adrenaline.

I show high arsenic in my red blood mineral analysis and in my hair

elements. Mercury and nickel is normal in hair and mercury is normal in red

blood cell analysis.

I had my total dental revision and was unaware that I still had any

amalgam since it was supposed to have been removed in 1985. I did, however,

have

two brdiges put in in 2003 that were 95% nickel and they think this caused

the amalgam to be released more.

I am so confused these days. My cardiologist says don't worry about the

skipped heart beats when I swallow etc. I feel dehydrated all the time,

have lost 15 pounds, I hurt into my spine, bladder, up into my esophagus and

ears, like a pressure thing.

I have spent over $30,000 along with my dear friends who have tried to

help me. My mind is clearer since the dental revision, but my physical

symptoms seem worse.

I wake up totally panicked, terrified at times. I have refused to take

drugs like Xanax or anything although it may finally come to that. I have

muscles twitching involuntarily all over my body at times. My temp is low and

my heart rate is very low, like 52 this morning. I did not take my BP

medicine yesterday so BP was 150/101 this morning. Like you, the BP meds, even

a

beta blocker, when this first happened WIRED me like I was on speed. It has

taken every ounce of strength I have to go on.

God help us all.

Inga,

When the dentist did a panaramic film of my mouth he saw left over

amalgam. This is all is so complex and complicated and we will just have to

wait

and see. Dr. Rea (environmental doctor) here in Dallas says I cannot

chelate yet.

I wonder if any of this is from heart failure. I know that the body can

send out adrenaline to get the heart to pump when it is no putting out

enough. Not saying it is, just a thought.

I apologize a bit as have not been reading

everything00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 at this forum

lately, so I dobn;t know you yet, but have you read Andy's book? He

expalins that mercury in blood means nothing, and that mercury toxic

people quite typically show low to normal levels on their hair

analysis.

How did you find out you still had some amalgam left?

This is interesting....I have three screws in my left knee... stainless

steel, which contains nickel.

This sounds like adrenal fatigue to me. Very typical of mercury

toxicity and very typical symptoms. Most doctors rarely are up on this,

but it is very typical with mercury toxic people. It is possible that

corticosteroids could help you a lot. The waking in the middle of the

night the way you do, also sounds indicative of adrenal fatigue,

I used to have some muscle twitching, mostly around my eyes and around

jawbone though, but later, I had attacks where my whole body would even

vibrate sometimes, and I would flap my arms like an autistic kid. I no

longer get this at all, since i have been working with Andy's protocol,

mostly the DMSA which fixed those symptoms for me.

How long have you been chelating? That took the twitching away for me,

rather quickly it seems.

> My temp is low and

> my heart rate is very low, like 52 this morning.

Are you well versed in hyprothyroid symptoms? Sounds like you could

also be hypo, with that low heartbeat going on. That in itself could

make you feel confused, not that it couldn't be other tings as well,

but it need check into, and your doctor will likely not be able to help

you with it,

> I did not take my BP

Didn't make me wired but attacked my nervous system in a wierd way like

I was seizing inside, and again, my arm would flap, feeling much like

what I call a mercury attack.

> It has

> taken every ounce of strength I have to go on.

Your confusion could be partly from being hypothyroid and having

adrenal fatigue.

For starters, check out http://www.drrind.com and review the

hypothyroid and adrenal symptoms and see if you seem to fit in. Being

hypo with adrenal fatigue is an earmark mercury toxicity symptom, and

some thing that is must not addressed PROPERLY by most medical doctors.

Bill, I find it very interesting though, that you too, became so ill

almost overnight. I was absolutely devastated. One day hiking up

hills, and the next, I could hardly get up stairs anymore, and felt

like I was gong to seize up every step of the way....WHen I had my

amalgams out, it fixed a lot of this until I crashed a gain over 2 1/2

years ago, but I was never able to really exercise again. What puzzles

me is how this can happen virtually overnight. Cheney's work on CHronic

Fatigue explains that it does it just this way.....hope you ahve a

chance to read that work.

I wonder if your environmental doc knows my environmental doc here in Clear

Lake. My doc (donald Sprague) used to work in Dallas.

I found out that Morales will look at xrays mailed to him. I am sending

my panoramic down to Morales to see what he can see....

By the way, do you know what it looks like? I certainl don't see

anything on mine and I hafd a very fine holistic mercury free dentist

do the work, but stranger things have happened...worth looking into.

Yes, right, but they aren't with us when we seize up and can hardly

walk around ...dang.

I'm rght there with you. Much of the other mercury stuff is better but

the heart is worse
