Guest guest Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Just to tell my story of how important minerals have been for me.. I had written before about manganese.. without adequate levels ,sometimes having to take 75 mg daily my liver is horrible-- it actually hurts like heck with nothing showing up on tests if I do not take these higher levels.. .. This week I discovered the importance of another---IF ONLY I had know before!!! Years of staph infection in my salivary gland.. Guess you know the usual antibiotics not working.. ALA helped for a bit but after my sixth chelation it cam back with a vengence --moving onto the corner of my mouth.. and my broken tooth needed pulling so I needed desperately to pull up my system . I did a search on frequent dose group and found that low levels of selenium cause staph infection that is resistant... I had tried five weeks of tea tree oil., oil of oregano, etc,, antibacterial cream..-- still there. Friday night I upped my does of selenium from 200mcg to 600-800mcg. THe next day I could see a huge difference on my skin-- less pain and less roughness adn less boils.-- amazing-- and yes miraculous!!! Today the corner of my mouth is almost better and I feel that the salivary is almost gone !!! What are others experiences with minerals???. Any other minerals I should be aware of??. I do take the daily dose of chromium, potassium, boron, calcium, magnesium, zinc.. I wonder about taking more of these.. particularly after chelation rounds... THank heavens for this group--body1million.. Quote
