I was told that I would never have kids. My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage. With my second I had a blockage in my right kidney and had a tube put in. I also had a problem going into labor. I was on brethine pills everyday to stop contractions (I believe stress had a big role in this). With my third child I had absolutely NO problems!!! Both of my children are healthy. The only problems we have had is with my son's ears. He has tubes in them because he had repeated ear infections. Hope this helps Memory
Guest guest
There isn't a blanket answer that covers every situation. If your IgAN is mild and you don't have a lot of proteinuria or high blood pressure, it might be Ok. There are still risks that the IgAN might get worse. I have some information about this on http://www.igan.ca/id42.htm if you haven't already read it. Pierre pregnancy > Hi everyone, > > I have a question. I am 29 yrs old now and will be 30 in 3 weeks. I was diagnosed 4 years ago, and I want to have a baby in 2 years. But when I read 's story I got a little bit afraid. Does IGAN effect all pregnancies? Does age effect both pregnancy and IGAN ? > > I will have tests in 2 days and have an appt with my neph. I will ask him again about this subject. But whenever I ask him he always tells me that there is nothing to be afraid of. Should I be??? > > Ayse / TURKEY >
