Guest guest Posted October 11, 2002 Report Share Posted October 11, 2002 i want to thank everyone again for the well wishes and support i have received during this roller coaster of a month. i had my appt this am with my dr and he went through what was going on and what my next course of action will be. i had what is called a chemical pregnancy. the sperm and egg met (after my first iui) and then something went wrong and the pregnancy didn't continue. he said in 75% of these cases it's a problem with the embryo and it's natures way of getting rid of it. from a medical perspective he said the iui was promising b/c it worked but very disappointing b/c of the outcome. my next course of action is going to be to take a month off and wait for my next period. i have my period now. after that i will start the clomid again and then go for another iui. so i am hoping the next cycle brings more good things. -marylou Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
