Marcy,

The question most of us are dying to know the answer to is this: Now that your

little guy has been here for a month how much of that 34 pounds has been lost?

(blushing because I know this is a fairly rude question but I'm dying to know

the answer)

Re: Re: WEIGHT GAIN

Alice,

You shouldnt have asked that LOL......My experience was sort of similar. I

was 1 year 9 months out from surgery when I got pregnant, and I didnt gain a

pound until month 4, then from month 4 on, I gained 34 lbs. lol....I am not

saying this will happen to you, but it could happen in the last half of your

pregnancy like it did for me. Good luck!

Marcy

You have no idea how much your answer has calmed and comforted me. I fret

about it way too much ... this is my 4th baby afterall, so you would think I

would realize that I'd lose it after birth, but for some reason I just freaked

out with the gain thus far. For me, it isn't even that much YET. I lost 11 to

start with and have gained 8 of that back ... I'm 22 weeks. So I'm still at a

net loss of 3 pounds but now that the needle on the scale is moving to the right

again it feels a little too familiar to my pre-WLS days. I sure liked the long

ride seeing that needle move to the left! I joked with my husband that I was

emptying my fat tank. :)

Thanks for sharing and being so honest with us Marcy. It sure helps!
