Guest guest
2:1 ..... 1.5:1 .....1:1 How do you calculate the protein allottment in low ratios? I mean, do you continue at 1 - 1.2/kg or do you change so that you don't give that huge amount of carbs? Thanks a lot Gilda
Guest guest
Gilda, Our daughter is on .8:1. She is 9 years old. We have kept her carbs around 20-23g per day and have made up the difference in protein. We took about a year to wean her down to 1:1. During that time we had changed the carbs and kept the protein the same. We found that too many carbs caused her to be excessively happy, impulsive and climb the walls. Thus, we have kept her carbs in the 20's and her behavior issues became minimal. Rhonda (mom to Shan, age 9, keto/Atkins over 2 years) Low ratio - help! 2:1 ..... 1.5:1 .....1:1 How do you calculate the protein allottment in low ratios?
