I am new to the site, I have had UC for over a year now. During my

first flare my LFTs went up to about 120. But they went down to an

acceptable range after they got my flare under control and me off of

5ASAs. I am now on 6-mp and it is working very well for me except

that I had to decrease my dosage because my LFTs were at 150ish.

Since then my LFTs are down to 40.

If I get my colon removed are my chances less that I will get PSC in

the future? I am thinking about surgery for my UC and if it would

help prevent PSC that would be great too. I'm getting fed up with the

whole medicine thing and when will I flare again worries.
