Guest guest
Oh, you are going to make me read something. LOL! Georga Hackworth www.ubah.com/F1549 Enter to win $50 in FREE books! CARS test Very lopsided results for Putter this time, a nice mixture of all the numbers but he comes out with a 32.5 which is lower than I would have thought given all the 3's he has. He started at 45 which is moderate to severe autism. 32.5 is within HFA/AS range, but Putter is still very affected by autism so at this point in time I do not think that is an accurate description of it. However, he has many AS qualities and I rather think that AS is what he will look like, mostly due to his undeniable intelligence. Any other CARS takers? I sent it last night but I think no one noticed so I'll send it again. Salli
Guest guest
I did the CARS test last night Salli. Andy scored 42.5. He scored a 39 6 months ago :-( But then he is having a fairly major regression just now, (that expalins why I've not been posting <sigh> ) Ali > Very lopsided results for Putter this time, a nice mixture of all the numbers but he comes out with a 32.5 which is lower than I would have thought given all the 3's he has. > > He started at 45 which is moderate to severe autism. > > 32.5 is within HFA/AS range, but Putter is still very affected by autism so at this point in time I do not think that is an accurate description of it. Guest guest
Salli, I did do the CARS for Jordan last night. I was pleased with how many 2.5's and 1.5's I marked for him. Surely he'd score well, I thought. Then I added them all up. And got a 42.5. Which is " 36-60: severely autistic " according to the CARS. I got upset and disgusted and crumpled the sheet of paper I was using and threw it in the garbage. I just fished it out after reading your email so I could post the results. Still not happy with the picture it paints of Jordan. Maybe it's more accurate for older children?
