Guest guest
I haven't logged on in a few days but wanted to respond to the preschool question brought up. My son is 3 1/2 and he attends the preschool where I am the Director. He just started the diet this summer and so we were wondering how this school year would work. As a Director I have always encouraged cooking activities with the children and didn't say anything different this year even though I was dreading it. However, the teacher has decided that even though Mason does great with foods he can't have she has decided not to cook while he is in the class. She has said that she just doesn't think it is fair to him and he may not do as well inside as he appears outside. If I were you I might talk to the teacher about this stuff especially the good ediable stuff like fruit loops. I do feel that children can get alot out of cooking but would they make peanut butter cookies if they had a child with a peanut allergy? Every year is different and every class is different and I think teachers should take individual needs into account when planning. I hope this helps. Just my two cents. Good Luck, Melisa
