We looked into the kicking/football @ Dartmouth-and it said you need to go attend in the summer and wanted some things that we couldn't do from California--but, he still wants to look into. If he goes to a small school, he would like to kick-but would try to walk on even at a large school. He's a pretty good kicker, but our coach here doesn't kick many field goals-so he doesn't have many 'stats'. Our team here is having a great year and is 6-1. Thanks again for your interest. --- end of quote --- Hi Joan - it would be great if he came to Dartmouth! I'd love to meet you and would LOVE for my boys to meet your son. Dartmouth really seems to bend over backwards for any kid with special needs. They have two deaf young women who are sophomores - one is oral, one is manual and they've hired a fulltme interpreter, have CART in one of the girl's classes, etc. Pompian is the disabilities coordinator and is hoh herself - she is wonderful! The football team has had a terrible year - I guess you know that? - but we keep on going to games and cheering Dartmouth on. Some year!
