Port update

Just wanted to update everyone on what I found our about x-raying a

port before chemo. I talked to my husband's onc at our last appt.

He told us that he had cases where there was a tiny pinhole leak in

the port. It worked perfectly but some of the chemo seeped under the

skin and caused chemical burns to the skin. He said his patients had

enough to contend with dealing with cancer and should not have to be

subjected to something like this. He said although the chance is

slight and the colon chemos are not as strong as some, he would

rather be safe than sorry. So, now we know.
