Guest guest Posted December 10, 2002 Report Share Posted December 10, 2002 , Please don't blame yourself or your surgery. I know where you are coming from as I have lost three pregnancies this year. I had 24 years of infertilty prior to this year. I have seen the high risk OB's for two of the three pregnancies and not once has anyone said anything about it being because of the RNY that I had. My heart aches for you because I know what you are feeling. I went through severe post partum depression after the last miscarriage and am still dealing with it...only without medication since I'm trying again. It's ok to be angry and to question why it has happened but as someone on this list told me and she knows who she is, God can't control that we live in an imperfect world. You have been able to conceive. That's the starting point. You conceived pretty fast after your last miscarriage so you are fertile. Don't get discouraged if you really want a child. Your mental state has alot to do with it too. My prayers are with you and if you want to talk, feel free to email me off list.
