Deaf or HOH

HI ,

Nothing rookie or ridiculous about that question at all! It's a good question

and most of the time the reason peopel give tells what to do about it.

We called our daughter HOH or profoundly HOH because if we used deaf people

would stop talking to her. She is an excellent lipreader and functions well with

hearing or deaf so we tried not to block any relationships.

The bottom line for me is that our kids are kids first, and each one is well

worth knowing.
